Surface blowout preventer control system is a special equipment to control the opening and closing of hydraulic blowout preventer and hydraulic kill valve. It is one of the indispensable important equipment to ensure safe operation in oilfield. It is mainly used to control the opening and closing of wellhead blowout preventer group and blowout valve, so as to prevent blowout accidents in drilling and workover operations.
The surface BOP control system consists of remote control console, driller's control console, remote control cable and connecting pipe fittings. The remote console is mainly composed of accumulator group, pressure regulating valve, reversing function valve, pressure controller and pressure transmitter. The pump group fills the accumulator with oil to store the hydraulic energy in the accumulator. When the pressure reaches the set value, the pump group stops automatically.
